History
Reisz Engineers began in 1974 in Huntsville, Alabama with engineers from the Apollo lunar landing program. We learned that seemingly impossible endeavors can be accomplished with intelligent application of scientific knowledge and unselfish dedication to achieve objectives in a timely manner.

- Reisz Engineers serves its clients with innovative and better engineering services. With the advent of the national energy crisis of the mid-1970s, Reisz Engineers specialized in designing and developing energy efficient systems.
- In 1976 oil supplies for plant operation of a soy processing plant were curtailed. Reisz Engineers designed and developed a solar energy system used in the processing of soybeans into high protein foodstuffs and vegetable oil. This was one of the earliest large-scale solar energy systems used in industrial processing.
- In 1977 and 1978 Reisz Engineers designed and constructed a system for the Tennessee Valley Authority that uses the Browns Ferry power plant warm wastewater to provide facility winter heating and summer cooling. The National Society of Professional Engineers recognized this project as one of ten most outstanding engineering projects in the nation in 1978.
Reisz Engineering offers engineering and project management services. Our architectural engineering projects include hospitals, educational facilities, laboratories, municipal garage and emergency management facilities, office buildings, retail department stores, facilities, museums, churches, military facilities, and medical and dental clinics. Our clients include the aerospace, manufacturing, grain, food processing, and automotive sectors. With the rising concerns of environmental pollution and passage of environmental regulations in the 1970s, Reisz Engineers developed environmental services to complement the firm's engineering services.
